and Highland Events have launched a new ‘Champion Business’ category for all it’s events starting with the ‘Mainly Tramping- Wanaka’ Rogaine at the Snow Farm 14th November 2009. This will be a chance for colleagues to do something fun together and build team morale outside of the work environment.
Businesses enter a team of 2 or more (must be owners/staff or partners) and compete for bragging rights AND $1000 free advertising for the winners, $500 for second and $250 for 3rd!! with Q92MoreFM (The champion business also gets a laminated poster to hang on the wall and keep) If the Champion Business also gets a placing in the open category then merit prizes will apply. If not, no merit prizes will apply but all business category entrants are still able to win spot-prizes.
Reasons your business should enter:
- Create some real camaraderie within your team- the team building effects of competing in events like this legendary!
- Having fitter staff means more productive staff- less days off and better able to stay focused on the task, not to mention the all-round improvement in mood, motivation and self confidence…
- Beat the snot out of your competition.
- Promote your brand/business to a key market- participants in our events are opinion leaders. By their nature they are highly self motivated and respected by others in the community, seeing your business compete in their sport will elevate their perception of you.
- Use this event as a marketing tool, take some good pictures and do a media release/ include photos in your next newsletter to make it more interesting…
- You could win some free advertising on the radio!!
- If you need more ideas or want Ed or Terry to do a presentation to your business on the benefits of entering please don’t be shy about emailing us.
