Highland Events are organising a Rogaine as a fundraiser to assist Katharine Eustace, a  local Wanaka physiotherapist in her quest to represent New Zealand as a Skeleton racer in the 2011 World Champs.

This is how you can help us make fundraising FUN.  We are going to have a 3hr and a 6hr Rogaine.  This is going to be a great opportunity for beginners to get involved in a great family sport, or get your work mates together and make up a team.  The entry fee is going to be $20 per person, $10 for under 19′s, which will include a meal and some give-aways  and lots of fun after the event.  We are also going to have some interesting  items for auction.

For beginners to rogaining Ed and Terry are going to be available for an hour from 11am on Saturday 25 September to give free tuition on map reading and how Rogaines actually work.  It’s really easy, if you can walk for 3hrs you are totally up for this event and at the same time help Katharine to reach her goal.
