Friday 19th March 2021
3pm – 5pm Registration at the marquee, Northburn Station – registration, gear check and ‘meet your fellow competitors’
5pm Friday at the Marquee – Pre race briefing (Also check out the pre race briefing page for video logs of the entire 100mile course!)
Saturday 20th March 2021
6am race start - (42km, 50km, 100km and 161km) - Marquee at Northburn Station
6pm 50km and 42km courses close (you have up to 12hours to complete these distances)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.
7pm Saturday 5km and 10km night runs late registrations (no compulsory gear for these races)
8:15pm 5km and 10km briefing.
8.30pm 5km and 10km start
10pm 5km and 10km Prize giving
Sunday 21st March 2021
7.30am half marathon late registration opens.
9am half marathon start.
12pm 100km course closes (you have up to 30 hours to complete the 100km distance)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.
12pm 50km and 100km lunch and presentations in the Marquee at start/finish area.
12pm rego opens for the Kids adventure race
12.45pm Half Marathon Prize-giving
1pm Kids adventure race starts.
Monday 22nd March 2021
6am 161km course closes (you have up to 48 hours to complete the 161km distance)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.
10am 161km Brunch and presentations in the Marquee at start/finish area.
100Miler Information
Minimum gear requirements are:
small day backpack.
rain jacket – it can be just a ‘shell’ but it must be seam-sealed waterproof.
merino or thermal long sleeve top
extra fleece/ mid-weight top.
Whistle
long thermal tights or trousers
warm beanie or Thir Band
polyprop gloves
survival blanket
own snacks, gels, energy bars etc
water bottles/bladders – enough to carry 2 litres of water at all times
headlight for night-time with back up batteries
reflector stripes or vest or back flashing light for night-time running
cell phone (recommended but optional)
gaiters (optional but recommended)
gps/compass optional
waterproof over trousers (good to have in your drop bag at TW (major aid station up the mountain) just in case.
