Highland Events Ltd has been set-up to by Ed Stevens and Terry Davis.
Ed has been actively competing in all types of events for the past twenty years, from Coast to Coast to National Cross Country, so has a good understanding of how these things work. Ed managed the Three Peaks race in Dunedin for 15 years along with management of many other sporting events associated with Leith Harriers in Dunedin. Ed also instigated the Otago Mountain running series along with Pulpit Rock Pursuit and has had great recent acclaim for his Rogaines in the Wanaka Region. Latest claim to fame, summiting Otago’s highest peak “Mt Aspiring”.

Terry has 9 years event management experience including Mountain Marathons, MTBing and 24hr adventure race’s. Terry was a late starter to the running scene doing the Dunedin Half Marathon as his first race at age 26, two and a half months later he ran the Kepler Challenge and was hooked. Terry is fanatical about the benefits of endurance based fitness and ‘re connecting with nature’ . Hence Terry’s real passion is adventure racing so watch this space- there could be a true multi-day adventure race back in NZ in the not-to-distant future.
