The Southern Lakes Half Marathon & 10K Run/ Walk starts from just below the Cardorna Ski Field entrance, 3km down the valley from the Cardrona Hotel. The route follows the Cardrona Valley Road to Pembroke Park in the middle of Wanaka. This event has been running since 2008 and now has a capacity field of 500 from all over NZ and many overseas competitors.
