Snowgaine Extra Information

Based at the Snow Farm Lodge. 10am 6hr start. 11am 3hr start. map hand out 1hr prior. Registration table open from 8.30am

Registration fee includes field pass. If you are a seasons pass holder please email us and we will give you a discount code.

Entry fee does NOT include the cost of hiring skis or snow shoes. You can book them in the registration process but you will pay for them directly to the Snow Farm on the day.

Course will include some Snow farm trails plus lots of 'off piest' country. You will need to know how to read a map! If it's cloudy you'll need to know how to use a compass as well. (Instruction given prior to start).

  Standard Registration by Thursday 16th July. 8pm $20 late fee for adults if entering on the day. Teams of 2-5.

  Price. (Per person) 

  3hr Adult $50 plus $25 ski hire or $10 snow shoe hire if you don't have your own.

  3hr Child/Youth (18 and under) $25 plus $10 rentals if required.

  6hr Adult $90 plus $25 ski hire or $10 snow shoe hire if you don't have your own.

  6hr Youth (18 and under) $40 plus $10 rentals if required.

  Online Registrations will close the 8pm Wednesday night before the Event Starts. Entries on the day cash only - $20 late fee added to adult fares (youth/child rates unchanged).

Required Gear

• Two base layers polypropylene or wool

• Water proof jacket

• Hat and gloves polyprop or wool

• Leggings Poly prop or Merino

• Ski-gear as appropriate

• Footwear = skis or snowshoes

• One litre of water

• First aid kit per team

• One cellphone per team

• Whistle

• Pencil

• Compass

• Food
