21km (9am start)
Click for google map of start. (About 21km up the Cardrona Valley Road from Wanaka, you will see a great line of toilets against the fence beside the road. Turn into the treatment station access road and into the parking paddock from there.
10km Run/Walk(10am start)
Click for google map of start. (About 10km up the Cardrona Valley Road from Wanaka, you will see a parking sign and flag on the left hand side of the road (if travelling from Wanaka) turn into the parking paddock there.
Entries typically sell out before April - so get in sooner rather than later!
Race-Pack-Pick-Up: Friday prior 5pm-7pm, MT Outdoors Three Parks, Wanaka. and Saturday 1hr before race start. Please collect on the Friday if you can. Cheers.

Friday:
5pm-7pm -Race Number pick-up, Wanaka.
Limited numbers of bus tickets may be available Friday for purchase.
Saturday:
8:15am - Half Marathon buses leaves promptly from the Show-grounds parking area - corner of MacDougall and Brownston Streets.
8-8:30am - Late race pack pick-up for SLHM at the Event Start parking paddock. If you are in Wanaka please collect from MT Outdoors Three Parks Friday between 5 and 7pm.
NO EVENT ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY OF THE RACE .
8:45am - Final briefing for half marathon. All competitors must attend.
9am - Southern Lakes Half Marathon starts.
9:15am - 10km Run bus leaves promptly from corner of McDougall and Brownston streets taking competitors to the start line.
9am-9:30am - Late race pack pick-up for the 10km Run at the Event Starting Point. We recommend registering Friday.
NO ENTRIES FOR THE 10KM ON RACE DAY.
9:45am - Final briefing for the 10km Run. All competitors must attend.
10am - 10km Run starts.
1pm - Prizegiving, at Finish-line

Injinji Half Marathon and 10km -ENTRY FEES
This event sells out every year - we have a limit of 500 competitors to use the road . The late fee information is a standard courtesy, however we rarely need to action this.
Standard fee - Half Marathon
Adult entry - $75
Entries are now OPEN online.
Late fees kick in from 8pm 1st March. There will be NO late entries as this event sells out.
Standard fee - 10km
Adult entry - $55
Junior entry - $25

This may well be the fastest and most scenic Half Marathon in the country.
Gear:
There will be a trailer at both start lines that will bring your extra clothing/gear down to the finish line. Make sure you clearly label your gear bag. Please don't leave your gear on the bus.
Drink Stations
Drink Station 1. – 5km at James Rd.
Drink Station 2. – Half way point (opposite the
Drink Station 3. – 5km to go just before Riverbank Rd.
There will be compostable cups of water and Tailwind electrolyte at each drink station and at the finish lines. This year we will also (in addition to the cups of water) be trialing marshals with jugs of water filling your own silicone/collapsible cup. If you have your own reusable cup that you are happy to carry please bring it! We will have marshals with jugs (and extra marshals swapping out full jugs) at each aid station.
